Where every day brings warmth, friendship, and care.
At The Way, seniors find purpose-filled days — gentle wellness, engaging activities, nourishing meals, and a community that treats every guest like family.
We believe a meaningful day shouldn't end at retirement. The Way is built around three simple commitments: meet every guest with compassion, uphold their dignity, and bring them into a true community.
Programs designed for joyful, dignified days.
Our day combines gentle wellness, cultural enrichment, and genuine companionship — designed by social workers, nurses, and recreation therapists.
Wellness & movement
Chair yoga, gentle stretching, walking groups, and on-site nursing oversight.
Music & memories
Sing-alongs, reminiscence circles, and live performances that lift the spirit.
Hot, wholesome meals
Balanced lunches and snacks. Kosher-friendly, low-sodium, and dietary options available.
Cognitive engagement
Trivia, puzzles, current events, and creative writing keep minds sharp and engaged.
Arts & crafts
Painting, ceramics, gardening — chances to make and to share with one another.
You don't have to do this alone.
The Way gives caregivers a few hours of peace each day — knowing your loved one is safe, engaged, and well-fed. Most New York Medicaid managed long-term care plans cover the program in full, including transportation.
Our admissions team will walk you through paperwork, plan eligibility, and help you build a care plan that truly fits.

The most meaningful measure of our work is how our community speaks about it.
"My mother lights up on the days she comes here. The staff know her by name and she knows theirs."
Linda · daughter of a guest"I look forward to bingo every Wednesday. I won twice last month!"
Mary · guest since 2024"As a caregiver, this program gave me my afternoons back — and gave my husband his community."
